Goals for New Year & Exciting News!

In the spirit of 2018 goals, I’ve got some exciting news to share with you…

kitchen remodel, kitchen, 2018, goals, you can do it, remodel goals

…we are starting our kitchen remodel in February!

I’d honestly started to wonder if we would ever get around to this part of the remodel.

Then my whole world changed when the Mr. came home on a random Wednesday and told me we were going to gut the kitchen at the end of January.

Let me tell ya, that is seriously the most exiting news anyone could give me!

While everyone else is making their goal list…

I’ve got 12,000 tabs open researching appliances, layouts, cabinets, countertops, lighting, and the million other things that go into a kitchen remodel.

My goal

I’m hoping that with your help I can make it through this remodel without having an emotional breakdown

When it comes to making decisions about our house I suffer from choice paralysis.

All of the important decisions about electrical, plumbing, flooring, windows and doors has to be made in the next two weeks.

Technically we will be remodeling the kitchen, dining room, and living room since the wall that divides them is coming down to open the floorpan up.

Yep, I’ll be without a living room, dining room, and kitchen for months and months.

If you have any tips on how to stay sane through this please share them!

So many choices need to be made, and FAST.

I’m already on the verge of having a panic attack every day but also so excited that I can’t even contain it!

I’m going to have a functioning kitchen!

No more 50’s oven that takes 2 hours to pre-heat and won’t hold a sheet pan which is SO exciting!

I’m going to need all the help I can get making decisions so be sure to follow along here to help me choose hardware, lighting, finishes, and everything else involved!

*Note: Sorry for the excessive use of exclamation points, I’m just so dang excited! Oops, I just did it again.
